whiles i’m not apposed to any of these challenges, like playing gamemodes or kills with weapons. infact i’m perfectly fine with them. my MAIN ISSUE is how EVERYTHING IS RANDOM. if and where a weapon would spawn on a map, and if you even get the gamemode you want.
want to play slayer or oddball? guess you have a 1/4th chance, since territories and ctf are also an option.
want to get kills with the mangler? tough luck, the plasma pistol and distruptor spawned instead of it.
you know for a fact a given weapon that you need spawns on a map you got? start walking, it probably spawned elsewhere in the map

why can’t halo just let me play the maps and gamemodes i want?
TF2 a free to play game, lets me choose any gamemodes and any specific maps i want for the given gamemode. why can’t halo infinite?
I’m never calling it that. It’s SWAT. And I’m not even a fan of the mode, but I recognize it as a classic and you don’t rename classics because some frail people don’t like it.

Motion Tracker absolutely needs to be increased to Halo 3 values in all playlists (except HCS of course, since there isn’t a tracker)
On your note of match connection, I’ve also had mostly good luck with connection but laggy/bad hit-reg games do occur every so often which I really hope gets fixed.
Don’t do them, just play the game. No one is forcing you to complete the challenges, lol. I get that they are right in your face, but just ignore them.
God I played every borderlands before and loved it… i HATED Borderlands 3… it was just so much worse, they messed up the endgame big time, and the story, first playthrough was fun but after that it sucked.
My favorite of them all is still the first Borderlands. It was a bit darker as the other two games and had a endtime atmosphere. I can see what you mean with Borderlands 3. But if you don’t take anything in that game serious, it is hella fun and entertaining. The humour is pretty good. At least for me ^^
I mean Borderlands 3 got dinosaurs and monkeys with guns. Doesn’t get much better 
Yeah it’s just i didn’t want to give them money and the base game wasn’t entertaining.
BL1 is really cool, and starts out pretty hard imo.
Definitely went back to play it and had more fun than I did playing bl3
but like… challenges are there to help the fun, give something to do with the sandbox of the game, expand your knowlage whiles also being rewarded for doing so. and if they’re not fun and doing so is a pain… then they’re ruining the player fun experience. i’l admit, they’re not bad, quite easy. the main annoying thing about them is that the modes and weapons needed for them are entirely rng based. the whole point of them being in your face is an insentive to keep playing the game. but since they’re almost a chore to complete because of RNG, not many feel happy to keep doing them. and besides, ya get practically nothing for not doing the challenges… so ya kinda have to infinite. even with the good gameplay, the grind really is atrocious without the challenges.
heck again, i admit they’re easy, but the RNG aspect of the game makes me want to play any other game. like mcc or call of duty which both have challenges that aren’t tedious and has me returning to those games for some fun time
I just completed my weekly as I pretty much only had the weekend, then I get the ultimate challenge, 15 headshots… I should also mention that I had to use 9 swaps to even just get the weekly done with the time I have.
I start work at 04:30AM, I think I just wasted the swaps and am unsure if Ill get the headshots in the next few hours…
And coop, forge, roadmap or any other form of transparency. Like will battlepasses be purchasable again at a later date or in their own store area? Or is it still pressure to buy before its gone? Because some of us may not play months on end, some of us may want to play other games for awhile.
Do I give Microsoft my money for fallout first while I grind at their free battlepass, or Halos? Why would anyone pay for a pass if they won’t be playing it any time soon? They could also bundle them down the road or something. Is co-op gonna be just a bunch of Chiefs, blue team, our spartans we invested in or something new to add to it like ODST with their own kits. Imagine respawning in a droppod every time you die in the open world map, making a challenge to splatter something.
15 headshots. BTB or Quickplay with a map that has a BR. 3 games maximum. I believe in you mate!

The best part of the ultimate weekly are the 400 XP. I personally won’t use the skin. It is also only for the sniper.
They are not fun, they are chores…
for one reason or another, infinite’s challenges really do feel like chores
Some of them suck balls, like getting kills with a certain garbage weapon
like the ravager… that pile of trash -v-
but like… even then… when the game’s rng was nice to me. it wasn’t bad, it was a challenge, but a reasonably fair one… getting 10 kills with the ravager. again, only when the rng was nice. no one likes rng
I’m with you OP. If the leveling system was like MCC I’d be a happy camper.
Can confirm, it’s still not fun. General challenges that MCC offered were leagues better. Not because they were easy for everyone, but because they were accessible.
Kill spartans in a slayer match? Let’s hope you have the RNG to matchmake into a slayer match.
Kill spartans with a bulldog? Let’s hope you have the RNG to matchmake into a map that has it.
Return the flag in a CTF game? Let’s hope you… you get the point.
On top of that, the end of match rewards are still non-existent. It’s just an awful and unrewarding experience if you are trying to complete challenge and/or level up the pass. One could argue “ignore the pass/challenges,” sure. Tell that to all the players that leave the match because it isn’t slayer/CTF/stockpile/etc. and make your gaming experience terrible. We all win if they fix these issues.
Yeah especially since btb is broken. I have been trying all night to find challenges that I can do and it’s impossible. I can’t find fusion coils or warthogs etc
And the game keeps forcing me into matches where the team is losing by a lot so my win loss is also not so good for the day. Very very frustrating tonight

I don’t enjoy having to get kills for a challenge that I anything other than the BR, AR and sidekick.
My displeasure varies between guns.
Because it is way too difficult to win a gunfight against an AR with most power weapons
