Long ago somebody mentioned a way for the ghost to get up on its tail part while driving, if you know how that’d be great!

It works with the Wraith as well. It has been a little known feature in hovering covenant ground vehicles since at least Halo 2(not sure about CE)
In CE, the Ghost didn’t have a boost, only the “wheelie” as you call it. This was quite useful because the Ghost was so floaty then that it would flip after every jump, unless you pulled back right before landing. I know it was included up through Halo 3, and Reach had a very small one. I don’t think Halo 4 has it at all–if it’s there, it’s just about imperceptible. Pity.
It’s noticeable. You hold Jump right when you boost and it’ll pop your front end up.

Usually the difference between a splatter or not. Not many people know 343i kept this functionality intact thankfully.
Fun tip: Go near a ledge in the wraith and boost-wheelie for major wraith air.

I always used recon in Halo, i gotta try this next time.
