Dog Tags

So I had two ideas Number 1) it would be nice 5 I think to be able to find dog tags of Fallen Soldiers and possibly other Spartans

Number 2) I think it would be nice to be able to use the other versions of the Master Chief’s armor in campaign and to be able to see it in the cut scenes

And out of curiosity does anyone think that Noble Six is still alive

1.) Dog tag idea sounds cool. Could be implemented similar to the data pads in H5 (give the character a back story, what battle they fell in, etc.) I havent read any of the books but they could implement lore details in that fashion based on characters in the books/games.

2.) Idk how i feel about alternate versions of Chief’s armor in the campaign. I think Reach style campaign was the best way to implement that idea for the cut scenes and although it may be a cool feature, i dont think its necessary or time worthy.

I’d love to think Noble 6 is still alive, however the final cut scene in Reach made it sound pretty clear that his sacrifice was not in vane…he gone!

Have you ever played the Batman Arkham games? Specifically City and Knight. Because they do alternative costumes amazingly, and I could definitely see Halo being able to pull it off… albeit probably without many options, Chief has had way less suits than Batman. But I would absolutely love to use the Halo 4/5 Mk VI in the campaign, I really do like it a lot.

yes i have but i think the batman series has reason enough to do that given the vast changes in the costume designs themselves representing different characters/times etc. Not saying that this couldn’t be implemented in Halo as well, i just said i think they could spend that time more constructively on portions of the game that may need it. Alternate costumes/armors in this case, is just an added bonus. Each game has its own armor sequence which can be played in if you go back to that game whereas in Batman, those costumes and even the vehicle skins represent generations/realms/movies in which no game has been developed for them. Would rather see it implemented down the line rather than upfront, if at all.

I don’t think having a different set of armor would really be all too crazy to do though, especially if the cutscenes are going to be in real time, or something similar. If they were prerendered I’d get it. I’m not sure I get you final part with the armor sequence though, could you clarify?

60’s batman suit…no game. any of the batman movies which didnt have their own game. those are good reasons to pull a suit into a dlc and add it as it pertains to Batman. Halo has a game for each suit and I’d much rather have them use that time (where they would be working to add the different chief armors) to be spent on optimizing our new game as opposed to an added feature.

Now if you were to say implement our own personal armor variants from MP into the Infinite campaign, id probably be more hyped for that.

Okay, I gotcha now. Personally I don’t think that’s too strong of a reason to keep them out myself. I’m sure people would love to change their appearance in the campaign. But as to the last part: why not both? I can think of a few suits that haven’t appeared in games. Basically all his Mk IV suits: The Package, Fall of Reach(animated), Collateral Damage, and base Mk IV to name a few. Ps, editing paragraphs on mobile really sucks, it just deletes them for some reason…
