Alot of people judge players by their K.D.A I believe That K.D.A just shows how well you do in games and it really doesn’t bug me that if its low.
Does your K.D.A Matter to you ?

I have a halo career? When did they start paying us? and how come I haven’t received my check yet? Do I get back pay all the way to 2001 or what? What’s the hourly rate? Do I get separate checks for each tag or will it be like one lump sum? What tax rate is that?
As for KD or KDA…Not really. I tend to view it as a measure of personal performance, but it’s still pretty meaningless.
KDA over time matters. When you eventually put days of playtime into this game, your KDA will show the overall skill you have in the game to some degree. Stats like win percentage and accuracy should be considered as well when attempting to determine the skill of a player.
My KD is about a 1.13, my KDA about a 2.8.
To me, it does not have any impact at all. I play solo most of the time, so it’s like the REQ system, you get random results.
I don’t care one bit about KD…I’m positive, but I don’t care
Doesn’t matter to me at all. My opinion is that these stats shouldn’t be tracked at all, anywhere. I’ve said this before, but it only causes people to not be able to relax when they play Halo and the cons largely outweigh the pros.

It’s the individuals choice if they care about it or not so I wouldn’t say that’s a valid argument for taking stat tracking down.
I guess I’ll be the one person to admit I care about it. To me, it’s a decent evaluation of individual performance. And I like to see my trends and how I’m doing currently vs how I performed in the past.
As long as my KD is above 1, I’ll be ok. But KDA…I don’t really pay attention to

Actually you’re probably not the only person who cares about it. With that in mind, maybe taking it down would be a bit much.
But here’s the thing, you said it works as a decent evaluation of individual performance, but I think it depends a lot on the gametypes you play and whether you play solo or not. Because of that, I can’t see how its effectiveness as an evaluation of individual performance would be anything but highly limited.
And somehow I play nothing but WZFF and my KDA is almost 5, what’s up with that? I have decent aim but when I go into the 4v4 slayer playlist, I do very poorly because I don’t even know the maps. I’d imagine it’s also possible to reach the same KDA by only playing ranked slayer, so that just makes me think it doesn’t tell you much about skill.
I think it is very important, a lot more than people make it out to be. It is a measure of your individual skill, and how valuable you are for your team.
Honestly, it’s bothering me that mine is decreasing as of late… I partially blame the lag and connectivity issues the past few days. It’s hard to score kills when your aim is freaking out one game, sluggish the next, and guys are skipping all over the place and eating shots.
I have a 3.6 K/D because of Firefight
