Reset your sensitivity settings to default and then apply your settings again. I noticed that it was stiffer than it used to be and I did this to fix it. I assume that its something to do with updates messing with it
Thanks! I had the same thing with pretty high sensitivity but on close combat it felt like I was trying to turn an ocean liner. This worked!
I will try this, thanks
Bro, something is off. Every back-end update or main update breaks the controller settings even when an event comes online it seems so weird like my aim is worse… I dont know maybe im crazy.
I hate that the game aims for you. I keep over or under correcting. I wish the auto aim settings were adjustable to an “old halo” paradigm like reach or even halo 4/5.
That’s why I kept making my sense higher and higher and even went into my elite S2 controller settings to make it faster. Then I realised. What if the updates are messing with this and the settings displayed are not the actual current value and I was correct. So I reset sense settings to default and put my settings in again. It felt sooo much better
Glad to hear it m8 ![]()
Glad to help people and to discover a solution for this
I initially dismissed this thread as not applying to me.
And then yesterday I accidentally reset my controller. So had to do it all again anyway.
Much better.
Like moved up from mid P6 to mid D1 in an evening better.
omfg this is real, how is this such a broken game
Thank you for the heads up because my controller has felt like crap all week and I thought it was just going bad on me
A bit but I’m also suffering from Stick Drift
did you fully reset your settings in the UI?
Yes. I accidently hit “X” and reset the whole thing back to default.
I was experimenting with the max thresholds on the stick - but stuffed it up. And it was mid-game!
I spent the rest of the game running around with inverted controls and random buttons trying to fix it during respawns (which were happening quite often)
Play against bots and turn on play fighting (they don’t shoot back). This is what I do to adjust settings
The sensitivity itself does not feel like MCC at all.
343 needs to fix it at some point.
Peace! Are you saying you can turn around quickly now? I’ve been looking for a solution to why I turn so slowly for awhile. I actually started playing GTA the last six months because I can’t play halo like I used to. I was too 6% in gambit on Destiny 2 but god forbid someone shoots anything behind me in Halo Infinite I’ll be dead just as I turn to face them
main issue i keep getting with controller is that it keeps going to default settings instead of the settings i have in place. so i can’t aim.
it’s completely random on gamestart for me
Are you on PC or Series X?
