Does Voting Back-out Count Toward Quit Ban?

I noticed that during the voting screen, as long as you haven’t voted, you can hit the B button to go back to the War Games Menu. So when I’m in a party, everyone votes but the host, and if we don’t like what map is going to win, the host backs us all out. I assume that might count toward the quit ban because it seems like a move 343 would pull. I’m just looking for clarification, thanks.

I would like to know the answer to this also.

I would also like to know the answer to this.

If I’m searching Regicide and Haven isn’t one of the 3 options I always back out and start over because I assume this is not harming my quit record.

No, as long as the countdown for the match has not started you can back out of the lobby with no consequence - this is the appropriate time to quit a match. It only counts as a quit if you pause and select quit, dashboard out, or lose power/shut off the console. Pulling the ethernet plug probably also counts as a quit since it did in Reach.
