I’m not a fan of alternate endings coming into Halo. I hope these trailers don’t symbolize that. Maybe this means we’ll just have two campaigns. I think that would be cool. Also what happened to the Infinity? Something really f*cked it up.

I believe in Halo 5 you swap between Locke, and Chief throughout the campaign, like in Halo 2 when you swapped between The Arbiter and Chief.
(NobleSquirrel) I was expecting that before, but, to me, the trailers seem to suggest that. I think it would be cool to have two full stories taking place back to back maybe with a final mission to tie them all together.

yh hopefully they don’t decide to put in dual endings, its just pointless and detracts from the whole point of having a lore tbh. I reckon it will be a dual campaign, one of Chiefs personal mission to save Cortana and one of Lockes mission to bring the Chief in and then at the end the two will converge into (hopefully) an awesome finale
I loved swapping characters in Halo 2. I’d love for it to be the case in Halo 5.
It is possible that it’s one story being told by 2 different campaigns. You could have different levels for each campaign and still come to one ending. It pretty much would just be different points of view.
