hey, I was just curious to everyone’s opinions of this song here: Mass Effect 3 - Earth
I’m fully aware that, that song isn’t halo, but to me, it sounds a little bit about the kind of sounds Halo 4 has. It almost reminds me of the Concept art trailer music…I don’t know, but I really hope to see halo 4 have this kind of music, as it’s an incredibly emotional and empowering piece of art.
> Grrr, you made me interrupt The Lord of the Rings Complete Symphony for this, it had better be good.

> 2 minutes and 14 seconds later…

> Wow, that actually sounds like something out of ODST; it’s very nice.
>
> Goes back to listening the 1:55:55 long LotR symphony.
WOAH! Nothing is EVER going to be good enough to interrupt a LoTR complete symphony…I sincerely apologise for interrupting your time! :]
I was going to mention this OP, you did it for me it seems.
That piece is so emotional but you have to play the ME 3 demo because it totally fits. That being said, this type of music Halo would benefit more, though past Halo themes weren’t bad in that department either. It’s just that it eclipses it IMO.
The composer who wrote that very emotional piece is none other than Clint Mansell of Requiem for a Dream fame. Glad he’s on board for ME 3

Here are some classic pieces of Halo music for you. I just recently put them together. Thanks for being so polite!

Mass Effect is my all-time favourite Sci-fi RPG game, and is my 2nd favourite Sci-fi game next to Halo.
I have a Femshep! She’s been through ME1 and ME2, I cannot wait for her to see ME3 to the end.
And I played the Demo, and I saw “that part”…I’m a grown man, but that part where that little boy dies…I was so upset…R.I.P. little man.
But that’s only about the game, this is about the music.
This song in that situation really put emotion to the front of all else…Clint mansell is one of a very few composers who fully understand how much music can affect any given moment in a movie and game…
Who-ever is our composer, I swear he better make music that gives me the same reaction as this…
