Does the Swords of Sanghelios have grunts mechs?

We know the SoS have grunts … but grunt mechs?

They probably do have Mech suits for their grunts.

Don’t think so. The Grunts gained the tech and know-how for building Goblins by pledging allegiance to the Created. The Swords of Sanghelios are against the Created, so unless the Grunts of Balaho send over specs, the Grunts in SoS won’t have Goblins of their own.

Unless the SoS steal one.

That’s how it all starts. One side steals the plans and make their own goblins.

Or the UNSC steals one for them. Spartans are pretty good at stealing stuff.

My thoughts are that because in the lore unsc and swords of sanghelios train together in wargames so I feel like they are the guys we fight in warzone as a training for both armies so yeah I think so

I hope the grunt mech is unique to the grunt faction or some other new group created by the Created.

I’m pretty sure. I don’t see how the UNSC “lore-wise” would have a fully operating mech in the simulations, if they didn’t have close contact with the SoS to provide the tech. That or in other cases, the UNSC probably captured it. Regardless yes, I think the SoS grunts may have something as such.

I seriously doubt it. Lore wise, it seems the Goblin was developed by Independent Grunts as a way to sort of “stand up for themselves” and prove they’re not just cannon fodder. From the Canon Fodder “Buzz Generating”, it says:

The Goblin is a Balaho-born battlesuit that embodies the pillars that Unggoy themselves universally agree their species is known for: ruggedness, agility, and lethality.

So the first few models were created on Balaho. Plus, like Chimera30 said:

The Covenant may only have the suits because

A). They might have been given some suits by the manufacturers,
B). Some of those involved with the creation are aligned with the Covenant, or
C). The Covenant stole the suits.
The only way the SoS or even the UNSC would be able to have the specs for them or even one of their own is, like everyone said, by stealing them.

So the SoS dont have mechs? :frowning: . They have to steal the suits.

Just like how the UNSC steals Covie and Forerunner tech while the Covies steal Forerunner, Covies, and UNSC tech for use. Basically everyone steals from each other post-war. It’s just the state of the galaxy.

Ok here’s one for y’all, the ungoy got the plans from the created. Cortana leads the created. What are the chances goblin armor has some mjölnir armor tech in it?
