Does the screen affect gameplay

So in my house we have two Xbox Ones both on different TV Screens. But I find that I always find it easier to aim on one than the other even when the settings are identical. Does the screen actually affect aiming in any way or is just in head?

I think it’s just in the head, although I’m sure resolution and stuff could have an actual effect. Personally, the size of the screen seems to greatly affect how I play. I’m fine on my small 22 inch tv, but play terribly on bigger screens, especially if I’m sitting further away.

There could be a little display lag. Make sure both screens are set for gaming (if that option exists on your tv)

I have a sony TV that would cause horrible screen lag causing tearing if I turned too fast and that was the culprit.

Except from you. I played on TV and everything is OK but when I play on my monitor I just miss most of the shots.

Yes, if they aren’t identical tv’s, then they could have different settings that could affect your aiming more than the other one. One could have more input lag than the other one for example.

Thanks for the replies
