When shot by Promethean Weapons, does this happen to the Master Chief in Halo 4? I am referring to the Promethean orange disintegrating effect you are all aware of.

Wait to find out
Good question. I am wondering if heāll be able to be supercombined (during battle or when he dies). IIRC, it didnāt happen in Halo 2 or Halo 3 but could at least happen in CE if he died.

That and headshots, like in Firefight.

I hated supercombines in Halo CE because unlike the needler you used on them, it only took like 5 needle shots to kill you, or at least take a good chunk out of your shield/health.

I donāt think 343i is to worried about that, they seem to be concentrating on difficulty, when someone on Neogaf said that Solo Legendary is going to be a YOINK, Frankie replied:

Previous games were criticized on being too easy, Iām looking forward to a difficulty increase.

I hope to God that there arenāt any missions of āThe Libraryā or āCortanaā difficulty on Legendary, cuz I want that Mark VI helmet.

That is more tedious than difficult, I agree.

Yep, theyāre concentrating on the right aspect of difficulty: intelligence.
Also, Iām now thoroughly excited.
As for enemy Needlers, I think they were really easy to avoid. They were annoying for stopping my shield from recharging but they werenāt too damaging. You could easily dodge them. Hell, CE needler wielders were one of the easiest enemies to dispatch.
Try Halo 2 enemies wielding Needlers. Those guys are -Yoinks!-.
The reduced spread and error, projectile speed increase, increased homing, and enemyās bottomless clip & insane RoF made the needles impossible to avoid. Not to mention the large hitboxes!! They practically forced you into cover. Not to mention they kept on firing even after you went into cover, forcing you to change positions. In CE, you could just run forward with good timing and avoid the barrage. You could use the same opportunity to close the distance between yourself and the enemy.
With a little toning down, things become much more balanced.
