Once I hit req level 5 the game is on because now I can equip my silenced br and my long barrel br and advanced sensors
Then nothing changes until req level 7 when I replace the silenced br with the silenced dmr
Once req level 8 pops I can replace the long barrelled br with the long barrelled dmr (recon scope)

Level 4 is when I can run around with the SMG in replacement of the AR, so I concur with the above quote.

Really? For me the h2br was slightly disappointing in that why use it if it has a longer ttk? I think that it needs a slight tweak to make it a similiar ttk as the h5br. Also I find the h5br better for longer engagements
Warzone is repetitive like that. Pistol until level 3, BR until level 6, DMR until the end of the game with a side arm (probably anti vehicle SMG). For all the talk about the crazy swings that reqs would bring, the ones worth using (read: silver or higher) take so long to replenish that calling in anything is the exception rather than the rule.

Because I’m not that great of a player anymore. I’m pushing 30 and my twitch reflexes are slowly going the way of the dinosaurs. The H2 BR makes me feel as good as I was in high school again.

During the livestream (which you can still watch on youtube) they said that the Halo 2 has a slower TTK. I think the benefit of it is the almost negligible recoil in comparison to any other gun. I personally think recoil is ridiculous when a Spartan can flip a Scorpion, but I understand from a gameplay perspective.

Haha, I feel ya. I’ve been playing Halo religiously since 2001 but I’ll be 30 in a few months. I can definitely tell that my twitch reflexes aren’t what they once were but I’ve recently found a solid Arena team that I’m playing with regularly. We just got one of our players to Champion in Slayer, and a second player is very close (like 50 CSR away). If we all managed to hit that rank, just for a day, I’d be satisfied for the rest of my Halo lifetime.
I’m all about the Kinetic Projection SMG and Kinetic longshot BR so I’m pretty set by 5. Plus I get to turn on my Splinter nade armor mod so things get real interesting.
I mean, half the time the REQ system doesn’t work and I play with an AR and a pistol so… No?

Im may have a very slightly slower ttk but has very little recoil, quicker reload, and the same bullet magnetism as in H2 (which was a lot). It seems I get so many more perfect kills with it, because of the magnetism. So I would rather miss less shots than have a millisecond faster ttk.
