Uhm… I’m pretty sure this has been the case in every halo game. You lose camo if you carry the flag/ball/bomb. It would be stupidly overpowered if it weren’t the case.

LOL I never realized I feel so stupid
Yeah it’s kinda annoying if you fought your way to getting invis, then managed to make it to the flag/bomb with nobody in sight, you should be able to keep your Camo with the objective. Why should the player be punished for having control of the power up and objective?
You don’t lose your OS when you pick up flag?
Actually with the flag I think you are invisible but the flag is not
it partially. i had camo on in regret or truth, whatever the remake of midship. and i had camo on, picked up the flag and realized my camo was going away. i though i was moving too much so i crouch walked. you have partial camo. its like in halo reach when you could choose the camo to be really good or super -Yoink-. so in this case, super -Yoink-. you would be just as effective as no camo at all in a way.

You can also pick up the active camo while carrying the flag.

Both need to be tested! sounds like a thing for Halo Mythbusters. They had some good videos on youtube.

yeah but you get to keep the oversheild when carrying it, which pisses me off considering you lose camo. All or none IMO. Just so long as the flag doesn’t become invisible too. At least it gives you a little bit of an edge when carring, like the OS does.
With the flg you slightly keep camo. Part of you is still invisible but most of you is not. Also the flag is not.

I did this on fathom. Took camo, grab flag. Stopped moving and I was invisible. When I walk I am half visible.
If you crouch you are invisible but the flag isn’t, you also don’t show up on radar that way.

I think you do, but doing so is kinda dumb. But in H5 at least no body knows where you are unless they see you (the waypoint doesn’t show, I mean).

Exactly.
You had always lose it.
You yourself are invisible but the flag is not, it makes sense, your armor is what you attach the Camo Pickup to and it makes your armor invisible.
