does the DMR pov look wierd to anyone else?

8 Minutes of Halo 5: Guardians Multiplayer Gameplay - PAX Prime 2015 - YouTube - watch the first 50 seconds to see what I’m talking about

to me it looks really angled up so its like the bullet shoots upward then straight, its like the person holding it has the end touching their hip then is trying to aim the barrel up to chest level.

opinions?

Before I watch this. I see that it’s very unliked.

And not because of Halo 5. But because apparently the person playing sucks. I can say I appreciate that. Stop sending people who are garbage at games to inform us on games.

… Okay time to cringe.

Edit:

Looks fine to me.

There’s a comment in there: “Is he playing with his feet?”

It’s like Halo 2.

well compare it to this

It looks fine. On a side note, is the person playing using their hands for the first time?

It’s definitely angled different, but it still makes sense to me, thus looks fine. thanks for taking the time and giving me a point of reference though.

OP, where’s the reticle positioned on the screen in Halo 5? Where is it in Halo 4?

Combat Evolved and Halo 5 are the only Halo games to have the reticle right smack dab in the center of the screen. It’s why the CE magnum looks a little tilted upwards as well.

Halo 2, Halo 3, ODST, Reach, and Halo 4 all have reticles in the lower third of the screen.

Now, I don’t really know what this means in terms of gameplay, or how it affects it, but it’s deliberate and they must have switched back for a reason. We need someone who knows a thing or two about this to fill us in on the details, but that’s why the DMR looks a little funny compared to Halo 4.

Never seen them play this bad before…

The POV is fine, but the scope always looked weird to me.
