Does the difficulty bother anyone in firefight

This is something that I noticed. The enemies here are extremely difficult. Even in round 1 it’s like legendary.

So I think that the difficulty will really turn people off of this mode. Especially people who for example can barely beat the campaign on normal. Just an example.

What 343i should do is have 4 difficulties like campaign has and have different req points earned in each one obviously increasing as the difficulty does.

Tell me what you think

A lot of people want to make it harder.

As to the current difficulty, I think it’s fair. This isn’t like past halos where you could pummel all the enemies in the room. You actually have to pace engagements and only melee when you are close to a kill.

I think the difficulty has a lot to do with your teammates; a good team can carry you through Firefight fairly easily while a team of more inexperienced players can make the whole thing seem more difficult due to perspective. The idea of four difficulties is good, but that requires four playlists, and 343i seems to not like having too many playlists going at once (hence the rotationals)

No, I think the difficulty is perfect.
Those complaining - try playing by yourself with randoms and failing round 3 is easy.

Kinda torn on difficulty. It’s too easy when you use vehicles, but then again Halo 5 needs an easy mode. It’s a bit boring though, it’s like playing campaign on easy with reqs.

Not at all, I’ve played 5 matches and won 3 of them and that’s whilst playing solo as I always do. Its really not too hard it just burns through REQs

I thought it was too easy. I think we finished around 12mins. Using vehicles helps but for the early rounds it was just a matter of being good and having decent teammates. I did mine with randoms too. I don’t even think its legendary difficulty, felt like Heroic to me, if not Normal mode.

The enemies do take quite a few hits, but my main nag is how crazy accurate they are. I was about 20 meters away from two elite mini bosses when they instantly saw me. To make matters worse, they both focused their storm rifle fire on me, taking me down almost instantly. That shouldn’t be possible with an automatic weapon like that, and it annoys me like nothing else.

I just think the difficulty with how hard it is can drive newer/not so good players away

I agree with this

Even legendary is easy when your got EIGHT real life Spartans (vs 1 + 3 dumb AI).

The AI is no tougher than they are in Warzone there are just more of them. Use cover and precision weapons with headshots and it is fine.

I used nothing but standard loadout weapons and finished the game with the most kills, assists, headshots and rounds survived. I only died three times.

I don’t consider myself to be great but self preservation is a skill that has to be learned.

I think it’s far too easy as it is. Now if we had team lives…

Not really, I’ve been playing with randoma all day and think they have the difficulty just right.

I agree. The difficulty is lacking.

The only time I have a problem is when you have to defend the garage.

Ive played two, won one of em. Difficulty is perfect IMO

In the one match I played I had to stand back and watch this myself. Every vehicle that was spawned was instantly targeted by mini bosses and melted. No matter how far away they were. Enemies were even spawning at the REQ station surrounding players that were pulling out weapons. It’s only one match but it sorta leaves a bad taste

Too difficult? Are you being serious? I could have played this game with my elbows, completed it the first time I played it and thought “is this it?”. Very disappointed with this game mode, it’s just like clearing out the base at the beginning of Warzone but all over the map. So boring, and way too easy.
