Does the BR has the same fire rate as in halo 3? feels a bit faster

I may be wrong be feels that I can shoot faster between every burst with the BR

It has the same exact TTK as it does in Halo 3. Aozolai made a video about this. It fires at the exact same rate.

Does neckshots count as headshots?

I’m not really sure about that. It wouldn’t change the TTK if they did. Are you concerned that you’re dying from someone with less than perfect aim or something?

Nah It just felt faster that’s why I asked. I ranked diamond so is not like I’m getting wiped.

This is the video I was referring to. Also, let me correct myself, it is faster for body shots but the same for headshots.

(Late reply I know)

Good info :+1: Thanks for the reply,

I have to see this video because it definitely appears to have a slower fire rate. And hitting every shot is different in terms of strafing. That could be a coding issue or things like magnetism. But it certainly isn’t reliable in the same scenarios as a classic BR is. And it’s excels in areas where the legacy BR didn’t.

infinite’s BR is hitscan, h3’s BR is projectile. infinite also has faster movement acceleration and the BR kills in 2 bursts to the body rather than 3. that might explain some differences.

Here ya go. Same TTK. It actually kills faster to the body however.

Thank you! I’m gonna check this out when I get home.

i have been wondering this as well. its almost like the bullets come out at a faster rate than the sound effects the gun makes. probably with it being mentioned above that it is hitscan now.
