in halo reach the armor pieced you add to the default armor doesn’t “melt” in.
in halo 3 they melt in, and it makes it look like it was made to fit.
do you understand what I’m talking about?
how will it be in halo 4?

I don’t get this post and are you talking about that black stuff on your armor??

Hard to say. I hope they look good but so far I think we’ve only seen one set of armor. That may or may not be in the final game.
I know exactly what you mean. In Reach putting some pouches on the default was considered a chest where in 3 you have a complete shiny chest.
I think you’re talking about one of two things;
How in H3 all the armor was highly blended, almost an off-the-factory look, while in H:R it looked more like tacked-on field modifications - pouches and straps and stuff etc.
Or how in H:R all of the ODST armor plates were slightly off-color and didn’t really mesh (but I think that was the same in H3).
Anyways, if it’s the first, I enjoyed both options. I’m not sure I can really compare them because there were so many more options in H:R, even if H3 had a better system, it was too limited.
Hm…
Melt.
I don’t like bulky in my spartans.
Yeah, I know what you mean. For example, most shoulder pieces just seem to be floating next to your arm lol.
I know what you’re talking about. The Mark V shoulders are the best example. They just look like someone glued them on, rather than made them “into” the armour.
Hopefuly they go back to Halo 3’s look.

Yeah. OP means that in Halo 3, it looked like the armor piece actually changed, while in Reach, it looks like the Armor Piece was simply attached onto the default armor. Apart from the helmet and knee guards.
I also wish it would look like Halo 3.
