it feels very very weak compared to assault rifle and suppressor. in most cases it overheats before you kill and the range on it is very short. i think either small decrease on heat time or more damage needs to be added to beef it up. idk i just really feel its way weaker than its counter parts and when enemies are moving back and forth that you have to control burst but you die before than. but if you go all out you will burn through it before killing the player. i usually have to have the enemy injured slightly before it usually kills. unless i luck out and the player im going again is really bad and stands still too much than its possible. but AR and Suppressor i dont have to do that, it can handle enemies moving around and hitting targets. maybe caused by slow ROF and small number of shots that come out make it so every shot has to count on it vs the others you can miss several and make up for the amount of ammo and ROF.

Lol, the Storm Rifle is better than the AR in CQC any day. You just have to hit your shots and pick the right situations to use it.
Fire for a full second…thrust/dodge…resume firing…dead enemy…you have to treat it like it has a reload…the TTK on it is not bad…it is more of a precision weapon than a full auto

it seems those its like a vulcan cannon when it fires. you have to pick up speed when firing. also, what you described actually sounds like more work than the AR or Supressor.
The storm rifle is the best short range weapon other than the sword/shotgun/scatter. Idk what you are talking about. The pros always pick it up and that’s saying a lot considering the don’t even pick up the BR all the time. Storm rifle/pistol is a beast combo.

i hardly use it because the only time i have ever got to use it is on BTB Entombed, or in Warzone either from dead spartan/elite or call in the req and when i engage at close range i cant seem to take them out as quickly as i can with AR n Suppressor. i have it almost completed but i hardly ever see it but when i do i try to use it. but i literally burn out right near killing n enemy, than i have to finish them off with a melee.
I hardly even use it and it feels very effective. The weapons in this game are working just fine.
