We don’t know. I’m confident it’s a download from the second disc seeing as how there’s no ESRB rating.

Yes it does, and we don’t know what’s on it. We do know however, that it’s probably a mandatory install as it’s been said Halo 4 requires 8 gb of hd space, and the second disc has no ESRB rating. I’m guessing it’s the first season of Spartan Ops.

Both editions of the game come with two discs.

As for the contents, it is unknown, now that I think about it, the 8GB needed for Halo 4 makes me think the second disc will need to be installed onto our hard drives and it will all be played through the first disc.

a logical assumption would be campaign and multiplayer on separate discs

(Think ODST)

It may be like ODST with campaign on one disc and multiplayer on the other. It could also go the Forza 4 route and make disc 2 a mandatory install and you only need to use disc 1.

Anyways, all editions of the game come with both discs.
