Does Sprint belong In Halo?

Simple yes or no. Just curious as to what the justification is for keeping Sprint in the game and people’s opinion about Sprint being in Halo in general. Please don’t use lore as the backbone of your argument, Lore and gameplay mechanics should have nothing to do with one another.

I like it, it gives more mobility for a bit of vulnerability (not being able to shoot back). I think a lot of people just hear sprint and hate it because it wasn’t in other games, sprint helps slow the game down as the walking speed is slower, and the high ttk it already has helped make Halo 5 a slower, more tactical game. Clambering and sprinting both are good ways of distinctly having a positive and negative to them, while still being extremely useful to get around the map, it becomes more of a risk to jump to top mid if you need to clamber two times and hover, rather than freely being able to move around the map with no consequences, other than possible lack of cover. I like when games offer a distinct advantage and disadvantage of a mechanic, but in the old Halos without sprint, you could move around the map.more freely, but there wasn’t as much risk. It was less fair in my opinion to be able to make any jump on the map without even looking where you’re going. It’s just not exactly fair in my opinion.
