Does Spartan Ops Affect K/D ratio?

I noticed that my K/D ratio went up quite a bit, even though I haven’t actually played Halo 4 matchmaking yet.

So, does Spartan Ops count towards your K/D ratio? Because I’m pretty sure Firefight in Reach and ODST didn’t count towards your average.

However, your enemy kills will count towards your <mark>COVENANT AND PROMETHEAN ENEMY</mark> Commendations and I am pretty sure the number of kills you get with each weapon is added to the “Most Used Weapon” pool.

I believe that is the case. I think that it is because Spartan Ops is supposedly a multiplayer part of Halo 4 as much as the War Games is. Also, 343i did intend for Spartan Ops to be a co-op/community experience, but they gave you the option to be able to play it solo.

As far as I know it doesn’t. Only the ‘Vehicles’ and ‘Enemies’ commendations.
You can get Wraith, Ghost, etc mastered in Spartan Ops alone, and is the only place you can master Crawler Sniper and other enemies, since Campaign won’t count towards that (And Crawler Sniper is hellish, there only being two missions that have more than 10 of them in one game ugh! XD)

I meant enemy kills count towards your Covenant and Promethean Commendations. It doesn’t work as SPARTAN-IV kills.

The kills you get with weapons in Spartan Ops does not count for weapon Commendations. But as said before, your weapon kills will go into your “Most Used Weapon” pool for your Spartan.

Your “Waypoint Career” K/D ratio is an just an average based off of your K/D ratio in all other Halo games you’ve played.

I’m pretty sure this is correct and just to clarify (like I think you did in a later post), it adds to your ‘most used weapon’ stat but not to the weapon commendations themselves.

No. K/D in Spartan Ops is not the same as K/D in matchmaking.
