They seem to be stranded given the games portrayal, though there seem to be banished ships elsewhere hinted at by the Pheonix Logs, just not at the Ark.
Also presumably one of the crashed ships from the end of halo 3 would have a salvagable slipspace drive.
Judging by how they can use glassing beams in missions after you destroy their carrier, I’d say yes. Probably much smaller ships than the carrier though. Probably battlecruisers and destroyers.
In the the cutscene where Let’Volir is kneeling before Atriox joining the Banished, there are several battleships present.

The ship we destroy is a Cas assault carrier. Very rare ship with the days of the covenant long gone. The ship is massive in size and dwarfs all ships the unsc have asked from maybe the infinity.
They more than likely have ccs battlecruisers which are much smaller, about 2 kilos long. These vessels are still very capable and one of my favourite ships in halo because of their effectiveness in battle.
The banished were never trapped to Begin with, they want the ark for themselves and they have no reason to leave

So css battlecruisers have ability to slipspace away from Ark?

I was very disappointed knowing they only had one ship with slipspace capabilities.
The Banished most likely have more ships since they can still deploy scarabs in the campian and the Awakening the Nightmare dlc.
In rise of Atriox issue 3 and 4, it is revealed that atriox controls an ex covanent corvette.
