So, I decided to stop playing rank playlists, I’ll not try H4 challenges because they are the biggest waste of time ever created in the game because the effort and time you spend doesn’t ensure you’ll get the rewards, it would have been better if instead of a rank would be a number of matches or a shorter rank like 15 … Those challenges only makes me to don’t enjoy the game, but you know? I’m good with that, with not achieve those rewards and not waste my time in this game in that way.

Short answer: No.
That’s because the unfair ranking system, the lag or bad hit registration and all the frustration that comes when you can’t find a game after searching for a long time.
And, in my opinion, the skins don’t look good enough.
agree this should make the rank simple like 10 to 15 not 20, even halo 4 might will observe so, maybe in the next second time will be. Because i made a support complaint about our experience so, we just see what happen beside player who already ranks 20 than original (20) they’re cheaters and still broken.
The recon slayer one is totally not worth it. I grinded hours upon hours to reach rank 20 and i didn’t feel accomplished, I just felt relief and dead inside. I wish i wasn’t such a completionist so I could have just ignored it.
On the other hand the Halo 4 one is totally a different experience, it’s a lot easier and less nervewrecking. I recommend going for it (though I know that after lvl 20 every loss nets you the full penality so you almost always lose a rank, but since I haven’t reached that level yet I base my opinion on my experience from rank 1 to 18)
even though I likely won’t complete the challenge which is a bummer cuz I got all the way to 19 last night I don’t really view it as a waste of time because I had some fun doing it…waste of time to me is when I don’t like doing something and then it still doesn’t turn out right
Maybe if the ranking system was actually worth a damn.
Being Rank 18 and getting stuck with someone who is 19, and can only get 1 kill, is absolutely bonkers. The system is faulty and requires hours of endless grinding. Not worth it at all.
From what I can tell no. Mainly because the ranks from what I hear are poorly balanced with match-ups and it sounds like it be a stressful experience. If it was for something fun like complete Halo solo on legendary then that be fine but skilled PVP challenges can lead to a lot of stressful times that can feel counter-productive. Basically it would feel like going up a very heavy stream.
I don’t think they are since it’s just a skin. The recon slayer is kinda fun kinda has a CE feel if CE was “remastered”… But I tend to stay away from H3 since I like playing the other titles a bit more and H3 xp payout is a bit lower than other games. I do like the H4 squad battle especially since I love Dominion, probably the best BTB game type there is (along with heavies). Dominion is what warzone should have been based on and not a req system IMO… But I play for fun and not rewards the majority of the time. I get not being able to rank up for the skins but some seem to need to sit back take a deep breath and the ask does it really matter? I have a feeling once Infinite drops these skins aren’t going to matter. Just like any cosmetic from a previous Halo you may not have gotten.
In a word, no. The amount of time you need to devote to this is vastly disproportionate to the rewards. Unless you’re god-tier, it ain’t worth it. Your time is better spent doing anything else in the game.
It’s not worth it tbh, they need to lower some of these ranks, as well as remove the timers on the challenges. I liked the recon slayer challenge cause I thought the avalanche skin was actually pretty dope, but it should’ve stayed for way longer tbh, giving us an extra week after 4 drops makes it kinda hard to play 3 if you’re excited about 4.

Not to mention Halo 2 had a massive player pool too. This system with the sad population count make it into an even more busted mess.
