Does nightfall DVD still give you the nightfall

Hi there, I have bought the Halo nightfall on DVD, and I was wondering if I still get the nightfall armor and helmet on my halo 5. Please help I’m confused and if not I will be mad because that was about $30 that I worked for to get that movie and have it go to waste. If you write, well why didn’t you just get it on the xbox, because I can’t my paying account won’t let me buy stuff and I can’t change my settings. I’m just asking, do you get the nightfall armor with the DVD, if not 343 fix that because lots of us bought it on disc and don’t get the armor and don’t want to have to buy it again.

I’m hoping so, because using the halo channel simply doesn’t work. No matter how hard a try it will glitch, lag, buffer until it pretty much comes up with an error.

you cannot get the nightfall with the dvd, i tried. you can only obtain the nightfall armor by paying the 14 dollars and watching it through the halo channel. Along side the nightfall armor you get a couple emblems, one for halo 5, and one for the chief collection.

In order to get the Nightfall armor can be gotten by watching Nightfall on the Halo Channel App on Xbox One. That is how I got it. I’m not sure, but I don’t believe buying the movie will get it, you could always play it on the Xbox and see what happens.

Did you try uninstalling and then reinstalling?

Yeah I did, doesn’t work effectively on my laptop either. I was able to get half way through the first episode once.

I’ve been trying to get it to work since nightfall and no luck, hence why I bought the dvds

I got Nightfall helmet and armor by watching all Nightfall episodes on Halo Channel.

I just tried watching it and just spent 30mins buffering sadly.

No. The req pack must be from Halo Channel. When I got the three req packs, I was like yay, just got noob armor. Plus, Microsoft has to know that you even purchased it, so if you used your Microsoft card, you might get the pack. IDK.

Actually, you can just go to the episode and skip it. You don’t have to watch it fully.

Still I wish I could just watch it, it just goes deplorably slow. Maybe it’s cause I’m in AUS or something. Even when they had those promotions with watching small clips from the games it took me 4 hours to watch one of the 15 second clips.
