I’m wondering if its possible for masterchief to have the didacts geas.
If so it could provide quite a interesting storyline for the reclaimer trilogy.
This explains the theory in great detail.
I think it would lessen the inherent bada553ry of the Chief , because if the Didact inside Chief awakens , all the major -Yoink!- kicking the Chief would do would be because the Didact wants him to do it ; but no Chief is a hyper lethal lone wolf , he doesn’t need any Forerunner with anger management issues controlling him…anyway the DIDACT IS NOT DEAD and there’s no need for his geas to be present in the Triology but on the other hand , Halsley may certainley have someone’s geas implanted in her…

Exactly if all the people saying halsey/cortana has the librarians geas are correct and i’m correct it would masterchiefs and cortanas slightly weird relationship make sense.

I can’t help but feel like the word geas is being used incorrectly, there was a geas, like the one the girl on the ring had, leading her here, there, giving gently direction, and the one chakas had leading him into Bornstellars path, from my understanding that what a geas is. More of a predetermined destiney than another personality in your head. Now an imprint of someone’s personality and memories is something completely different, this is what later awakened within chakas and the old man on the ring, also in riser.

This^^^. A GEAS is a subliminal predetermined set of actions, Riser finding Chakas in Cryptum and knowing to expect Bornstellar. Chakas and Riser taking Bornstellar to the Didacts Cryptum. That was all due to a Geas. It is NOT a genetic imprint of another being. The Didact imprinting his memries to Brnstellar was NOT a Geas, it was a completely different procees, there is no indication Forerunners can even implant themselves like that into humans (although it could be possible since they are said to be genetically similar).
I think it makes more sense for both the Librarian and Didact to be alive, and that Riser and Vinnevras spirits are in MC and Cortana.

Yes but cortana was created by cloning halsey brain so wouldn’t it have passed onto cortana as well?

I don’t think so. The only real comparison would be Chakas and the Lord of Admirals. When Chakas was put in a Monitor, the Lord of Admirals followed. However, Chakas was not cloned and it was still HIS mind.
I don’t see that happening with Cortana since Halsey is still alive.

Yea, I mean at this point its speculation so I guess well see. Not that this means anything, but when I read Primordium as Vinnevra whispered her real name, I instantly thought Cortana. Like I said, not factual at all just what popped in, could have easily been Catherine…or anything.
