In Halo: CE, Master Chief wears a suit of armor. He fights/engages in combat against Covenant, Sentinels, and the Flood. But I’m quite curious about something.
How much work do the UNSC put on repairing Master Chief’s armor? Is Master Chief wearing the EXACT same suit of armor from CE in all the games? Even though the model-type of armor is the same, does he switch to different suits?
Halo 1: Mark V
Halo 2: Beginning of Cairo Station, you get Mark VI
Halo 3: Same as Halo 2, Mark VI
Halo 4: With what we know now, and this is subject to change later in the game, Chief has the same Mark VI armor with some slight altercations from Cortana

Thats not what he is asking.
Master Chief does not get repaired armor, he gets it then never takes it off basically. Its been stated that when Master Chief got Mark VI in Halo 2, his Mark V was damaged beyond repair. Therefore no one worked on it.
Also in Halo 2’s campaign if you notice carefully, every mission MC’s armor gets more damaged.
In Halo 3 it reflects Halo 2’s damage, like the huge scar on his right brest plate.
In Halo 4 it is canonically the same armor, you can even see the same large scar on his chest.
So no his armor was never repaired, although one engineer did fix his shields or something? I don’t remember the details.
The huragok did work on it and in cryo it was fixed a bit. Cortana must have gotten sentimental and left the scar there.

Yeah its the same in Halo 4, except the nanosuit-themed underarmor.
Ok so yes, his armor was repaired by Cortana as stated earlier. I have been curious about this subject as well, and when I came to this forum I had to post something.

Please don’t revive old topics, thanks, especially ones that are over 6 years old
