I notice a lot of people complain that the Arena is too competitive. I think it’s fine. 343 removed ranking for BTB (which does make it less competitive), but I think if they removed KDA from BTB it would make it a lot more social. Even though people don’t have to worry about their ranking being affected when playing BTB they do still worry about their KDA.
Personally it’s fine the way it is. I mostly play Warzone and do like a competitive Arena. Actually I wouldn’t mind ranking being brought back to BTB. But I’m not the only one to play Halo 5. So if it makes people happy to have a completely social playlist I think this will help.
