Hi, so I just recieved my copy and I was wondering if I can download the maps now or if I’ll have to wait the 15th because I don’t want to have some crazy -Yoink- like BF3’s online passes or something like that. I’m currently installing it on my HDD.

Don’t you think it would be a good idea to wait until the 15th like your fellow fans? 
On a serious note though, I don’t know. Generally when you play about with games with online elements before their release date, they’ll get you back somehow. Beware! :o

If I had to bet, I would bet that it would work and be no problem being so close to the release date I’m (almost) sure that -Yoink!- wouldn’t be so stupid not to have that stuff up in marketplace…(but it is -Yoink!-)

If my memory serves correctly, there were credit resets for those who played matchmaking before Reach’s official release date. However, you may be able to download the maps, not play the classic playlists to avoid repercussions (if they’re even online yet), and explore them to your heart’s content. I really don’t know. Just be wary.

I get all of my games early and I’ve never had any problems. I will have Anniversary on Saturday

Those who played reach before the 14th got reset on the 14th so that ain’t a problem, I just want to know if I might loose my code like BF3.

The Anniversary Playlists are going live on the morning (PST) of the 14th of November.
You’ll be fine.
Most Review sites would have to download the DLC the same way so why would you be banned or have the code taken away? You should be fine to download the maps and explore them all you want. You just won’t be able to play the Anniversary playlists or maps in matchmaking until Nov. 14th.

The playlists are already available. 343i was playing with media people last night in it.
I just use the code for DLC anniversary map pack and it gave to me the defiant map pack instead. So no don’t use it for the moment.
