Here is a list of the issues I have with their game that seem to be only there to force people to play longer periods:
- Team slayer in ranked and quick play does not count towards Team slayer challenges
- You lose all progress towards challenges when the game crashes or you are disconnected for any reason
- They release Attrition instead of elimination
- Attrition counts as elimination for medals but it does not count towards the only achievement still impossible to get in the game.
- They have limited challenge swaps and no method to get more after you reach 100 so it becomes very difficult to get weekly challenges once you run out of swaps
- They have challenges like save an ally from far away which is not really something you can easily work towards compared to pretty much every other challenge.
- You have to keep going in quick play matches to have any chance of getting the game mode you need for the challenges, and they add slayer which lowers the chance of getting any other game mode by a lot even though there is no challenges for team slayer in quick play.
- You have to play with cheaters and toxic players because there is no method of reporting them
It seems like they don’t really care about anything other than keeping people playing the game, likely hoping it will lead to people paying more in their shop. Since money seems to be the most important thing to them, hoping to milk the players for all that they can. I mean the other issues with the game are mostly sleazy cash grabs where they sell crappy skins which were free in previous games for exorbitant amounts of money.
There are many things that they can do to improve this game, but it seems like the main focus is squeezing the player base for every last penny while wasting their time.
Just release elimination so the completionist can get the last achievement. I would have continued to play this game for fun if the implementation was not so sleazy, but I think I will stop playing completely either when I get the last achievement or if they don’t improve the systems within the next 2 weeks.
