Does it scare you that...?

Does the direction that 343 is taken with Halo scare you?

Specifically, the fact that you may have to purchase equipment, weapons, or Armor Abilities in order to use them in-game?

No, but Forge is gone (see my thread).

It’s not the fact that you have to purchase them, it’s the fact that they’re there at all that bugs me.

yeah, a little. I’m just sort of waiting for clarification from 343, but it seems like they are more going to justify. Whatever though

I really wish 343 would say something.

I don’t believe they said you’d have to purchase your own weapons. But some of the ideas they’ve introduced I like others not, but that doesn’t mean its time to abandon ship. Hopefully it turns out ok. I don’t mind purchasing armor but some of thos others seem like it would be unnecesary to have to buy but I don’t mind the whole currency thing. One thing out of the new slew of features I don’t like is Forerunner Vision.

Dude your argument doesn’t have ground. There is simply no evidence to go and declare that.

That damn Halo 3 troll is back, and his scans are just as good.

Damn, I hate you.

No it does not. I guess I’m just a little more laid back and less picky than most others.

Dude don’t get on a high horse here. I’m pro-halo 4 but, still I am concerned for it’s future, you don’t need to bash anyone because of that.

Scare, no. Sadden, yes.

yes, it makes me sick to hear what 343 has done with this game.

It’s even worse that they say they’ll explain it better, later.

Wasn’t trying to bash anyone, I was just saying that’s how it seems to me…

Yes.

Halo solidified its place in the market as a symmetrically balanced arena shooter. Not an asymmetrical class based shooter. Its silly to try and transcend genres when there are already a ton of other games on the market for fans of class based shooters.

I hope they separate ranked gameplay from casual gameplay like in Halo 3, I like playing when it actually matters to win not with teams constantly changing as people drop in and out and no one going for the win just going for how many kills paying no attention to their k/d and whether or not they are hurting their team, since who cares if you win or lose when there’s nothing on the line, please bring back competitive play the little season thing in arena obvious didn’t work either

Yes, it does scare me. If the game implements any sort of micro-transaction system as a way for people to access special weapons in competitive play I’m not even touching the multiplayer. That’s going one step further than even CoD goes.

Also, Forge is gone? What!?

I don’t want to discuss specific leaks, but I wouldn’t be surprised if we did have to level up to a certain level before we could pick up in-game weapons or even start with weapons such as the BR.

Jesus Christ it’s a video game calm down.

You have zero proof. Forge could easily be in the game seeing as the multiplayer maps are ‘simulated’. Whose to say we can’t create maps that take place within the simulation, like programmes are created within The Matrix? Not to mention the fact that Forge is too ingrained in the overall Halo experience to remove. It would be a mistake on 343i’s part to do such a thing and I am sure that even they knew that.
