Can someone explain how the bans work? Is there ever going to be a reset or does the length of each ban increase from now until the end of time? Will we all be facing 48 hour bans by Christmas? Does the game take into consideration how many games you complete vs dnf or is it just total dnf’s since you started playing halo 5? Yes I know there is a ban thread but no one reads it. Just looking for info.
I’m not sure all the specifics, but I do know the bans do lower over time. What causes them to lower I don’t know. What I’ve found is that as long as you don’t go quitting like a madman you should be fine.

How did you get banned lol
I’ve had two bans. First was about a month ago for betraying in griffball. that got me a little less than 2 minutes. Then when infection came out i got disconnected a couple times. No big deal, except the next day i quit a game (oh the horror) to accept a party invite. That got me 9 minutes. I can deal with that. Real life and server drops will cause some dnf’s, I had a dnf in warzone today because the wife needed help with something. I got the “wake up john” thing. I was just wondering if we ever dig our way out of ban land.
