For starters I do really like all of the “exclusive” armor skins.
The thing that bugs me the most about all of this is that all of the dang skins are exclusive and you can only go to one place for that skin.
Do you think 343i will sooner or later put out all of the skins to buy? After the game has been released?
Would you guys want that?
I beileve Frankie hopes that these skins will eventually make their way to the entire public latter in the future. He said this in a Neogaf forum somewhere.
I doesn’t really bother me too much. This is just the way things are these days with games.
When I bought Forza 4 I reserved it at Best Buy because they were offering a certain BMW I wanted. While GameStop offered some lame car I didn’t want.
I reserved my limited edition at GameStop before all this skins business. Do I like the Forest skin? Not really. Is there another skin I would like better? Yeah, sure the Raptor at Best Buy looks cool. With the right colors I think it will look real nice. Will I scratch my reserve at GameStop and go to Best Buy just for an exclusive skin? No. I’m sure that the game will have all kinds of skin to choose from.
Plus, as with most of these situations I’m sure a lot of people will be willing to trade with others. Well, I know a few friends that will at least.
