Hi just wondering does infinity actually have shields cos every video with infinity the shields either fully charged or cracked & there’s no combat scenes that last long enough to reveal shield flare so is there a book that explains anything or some statement would be nice or a theory.
Judging on the fact humanity has been adapting covenant and forerunner technology for years and they took all of that research and stuffed it into a single ship, I’d say the Infinity has shields stronger than any covenant ship’s shields. Also, did you ever see the dreadnought’s shields pop (assuming it still had them) when it was bombarded by the frigates as it left earth through the portal?
Check out the Spartan Ops video. It answers your question.
Rumor is that it does.
Which matches the fact when it crashed (in the E3 showing) it had the flickers that surround Spartan armor when shields are down.

The Infinity has better shielding than any ship the Covenant or Separatists ever had. The only thing stronger in shielding is the Dreadnought. Even then, it may be on par WITH the Dreadnought for shielding strength.
Deja vu!!
looking at the way The Infinity brushed aside the poor CCS battlecruiser , I’d say the Infinity’s shields are figuretively as strong as Sovereign’s shields in Mass Effect.
Sovereign brushing aside the Turian cruiser looked much more badass though. sorry! :^)
