To start this topic off I am going to stay as subjective as possible in this post and refrain from my personal opinions, atleast until the end.
I will begin by listing every Halo FPS and provide what makes them “them.”
Halo CE

The first Halo game of the franchise. - Weapons at launch include: pistol, shotgun, sniper, assault rifle, rocket launcher, plasma rifle, plasma pistol, needler, frags, and stickies. - Later weapons include: flamethrower and fuel rod - Vehicles at launch include: scorpion, warthog, ghost, and banshee - Later vehicles include: Black and yellow warthog (lol) - Gametypes at launch (also used later with system link and non-official mp lobbies): slayer (+BTB), SWAT, oddball, CTF, KOTH, and race - Able to have 16 players in a game lobby - Featured a long and difficult (especially on legendary) campaign - Total multiplayer maps: 19 (6 DLC)Halo 2
