So… During the Battle of Sunaion, Tanaka says that Buck will buy the first rounds (drinks) when they get back. Buck then says, “If we make it through this, I’ll buy the whole damn bar.”.
Seeing as how Fireteam Osiris did indeed make it through, I think it’s likely Halo 6’s Legendary Ending will show Blue Team and Osiris walking into a Bar run by Buck, and having a few drinks. They might even show John’s face when he drinks!

Just saying Spartan II’s are social outcasts and are extremely anti-social. They are attached to only a few and that is usually Halsey and their respected team they grew up with. Showing this super social behavior just would not make sense since it goes against their psychological behavior.

I dont even think that would be good. Its a situation that just lacks any real value besides hey we did good. Lets not go down that road because it would just be a throw away forgettable ending. If 6 is suppose to end chiefs story which it might, then it better be the best ending we have ever seen and be extremely memorable. It should not be an avengers after credits scene.

I remember reading that they said it was originally a Reclaimer Trilogy (Halo 4-6), but then they said they’re going to do a Reclaimer Saga (most likely 4-9), so I don’t think it’ll all end here. I also hope not, because Osiris was weak, poorly written, uninteresting, and completely took away from Halo. If you want to deviate from Chief, that’s fine, but Chief is still the main character, and when you do deviate, make it damn worth it. The Arbiter had a fantastic story, I actually enjoyed his campaign in Halo 2 more than any other campaigns in the Halo series.

True, though I do hope that Buck keeps his promise to buy the bar at some point in the Halo cannon. Would be a bit sad if he didn’t.
INB4 Brian Reed reads this and hes like “this sounds like the perfect legendary ending for halo 6” and it actually gets implemented…
Not for Halo 6.
But it would be nice if at somepoint Buck and Dare quit and open a bar together, though maybe not in game, perhaps a book or something.
