Hi, I am new to this and trying to set my son up on his new Xbox One. On his 360 he was able to play Halo, offline, with a friend (on the same team i think). Is he able to play with a friend offline - (2 players and 2 controllers)? He does have live, but wants to be able to complete missions with a friend or even me.
Please help and tell me if you can play multiplayer (2 players and 2 controllers). If you can, how do you enable this feature or what menu options need to be selected.

Hi Jaidan, I’m sorry to say but Halo 5 doesn’t support any type of offline co-op or split-screen play. There were plans for it before launch but the game ultimately didn’t ship with support and there won’t be any support for it added now. Your son can still play co-op over Xbox Live though, so if there was a friend with another console that played he could play with them online.
