Does Halo 4 run smoothly?

Personally the one thing I hate about Halo Reach is how jittery it looks. Maybe it’s just me, but it’s really noticeable especially when switching from a game like Call of Duty.

I know COD runs at 60 FPS and Halo runs at less, 30? However, Halo 3 etc didn’t seem to be so jittery and this really takes away from my enjoyment. From some of the videos I’ve seen, Halo 4 appears to be running similar to Halo Reach…not cool.

Does anyone else feel this way? I long for a buttery smooth frame rate in my Halo games!

Reach felt great to me so idk, I’m not really clear on what you mean by jittery?
Like moving to fast?

Halo 4 does run smoothly. I believe Halo 4 is the first Halo game to run a 30 frames per second instead of 60. But to be honest there is no noticeable difference unless you have very good vision.

looks smooth to me.

I guess I can’t really explain it, but it’s FPS is noticeable to me and it’s distracting, and mainly so in Reach.

lag maybe?

I think me means how you feel like an armored turtle in Reach, not the same feel as the other Halo’s in movement or aiming…

Maybe you have really good eyes like JengaMan said.

I’ve had many a snipes missed b.c. of the horrible Forge World lag. I’ve noticed it on other maps but definitely not as bad as in Forge World maps. It’s that feeling of like you’re aiming through oil or sludge. That’s the best way I can describe it. It happens nearly every time I snipe on a Forge World map and seems to occur when the game has a lot of things happening and it can’t handle everything going on. I haven’t noticed it in H4 buuuut until I get some hands on time I doubt we’ll know.

Nope. They’ve all been 30 fps.

I know exactly what you mean. When I played Reach, I only noticed a bunch pixels out of place when playing different games then playing Reach again. But wouldn’t notice it if Reach was the last game I played. I hope that problem is fixed in Halo 4.

P.S. to everyone but OP, It’s not lag! It’s the screen being a bit blurry. I don’t know why it does this.
