Does Halo 4 multiplayer remind any one esle of COD?

As I see more things about Halo 4 I can’t help but compare the similarities to the Call of Duty series. For instants, Loadouts, Perks(tactical package/support upgrade), Kill cams (SITREC REPLAY),care packages(ordinance), some of the game types (Dominion). It still looks “Halo”, but it seems like there is a lot of barrowing in it.

Um, this argument was basically destroyed following E3. And as far as I know it’s been dead ever since. /hope I don’t sound like a snob, but if you’ve een following the new info, it’s actually pretty different.

uh…no.

Differently from COD this game has insane SP production value, a dev cycle of 3.5 years, story driven content being released weekly and a forge mode…stop thinking that some MP game mechanics applied to virtually a game within a game are going to make this a COD clone

as much as i like halo 4, i actually agree with you. the whole custom loadout idea would be so much better if all options were unlocked from the start (except specializations). i can do with perks, and ordance drops, but thing i think was overkill was killcams. there is no reason for them to be in the game at all. they dont add anything, and they SCREAM COD

it sure does OP. i mean CoD invented guns and war, so yea, halo is copying

It actually reminds me more of TF2, the only difference being a bunch of wacky mercenaries fighting clones of themselves in opposing team of red and blue with a thing for ha- wait a second…

But then nobody would give any other weapon a chance and would straight away go to their fav weapon.

It doesn’t remind me of CoD in the least!

What is this CoD you speak of? I only see a Halo game.

343 can add as much features as they want IF they don’t affect gameplay.

In a lot of ways, it sure does. Similar in a lot of ways, but better. Custom loadouts, but no power weapons. Perks, but nothing gimmicky. Killstreaks, but you earn them differently and they aren’t OP. Instant respawn, but not in objective gametypes.

Basically, it feels like what CoD should be, yet isnt. It takes all of CoD’s good ideas, perfects them, and injects them with Halo goodness. Halo’s long been known to rip off other shooters, but the great thing is they don’t just steal the mechanics, they improve them and make the originals look bad.

CoD, with the exception of Zombies, is complete garbage. Halo is wonderful most of the time.

What about the perks in COD and the tactical package/support upgrade similarities? I know the games are very different, I was just thinking about some of things that look like copies.
