This is a decision making question. If Halo 4 doesnt have it, then Im not getting it. None of my friends play Halo anymore so I dont have anyone to play with and I hate playing by myself. So will Halo 4 have Campaign Matchmaking like Halo Reach where Ill be able to search for other players in the game its self? I have googled many times, I cant find any info on it.
So you’re not going to buy the game because you can’t play the single player mode with multiple people? That’s just silly. Play Spartan Ops and multiplayer.
How is that silly? Thats how I play. I want to play the campaign with people. To be honest, I suck playing alone in single player.
The typical response would be: Get better.
But I’m not a typical person . I’m not sure whether or not they have or will implement Campaign Matchmaking. My guess would be no, but because there hasn’t been any talk about it, I can’t say for certain. I would ask one of the 343i devs on their Twitter and hope for a response.
Past that, you could always try and make nice with randoms on matchmaking and make them your Live buddies, from there you could invite them to Campaign. I’m the same way, only I prefer Campaign solo except Reach or 3 when we had different characters. Spartan Ops would be different, however, that I would want to do co-op on.
Hope this helps!
Spartan ops has matchmaking, so there is a possibility that campaign will too.
If worse comes to worst, you could always go into multiplayer and find new friends, then invite them to play co-op campaign.
Well im guessing it is in the game because there is an Achievement in the game for beating it on Legendary solo

So get a group of your friends to play with you?
I agree with “Carnage”, I missed the matchmaking option in Campaign mode. It allowed me to obtain random players to complete the Campaign online. The way 343 organized it makes it very difficult to find other online companions if none of your friends are online. I prefer the way Bungie set up the online campaign as well. If you play online now you have to invite your friends but if none are on then what? I think that was one of the biggest mistakes 343 made compared to Bungie when it made Halo:Reach. I hope they get it right on the next rendition of Halo.
No.
It’s one of the many things that 343i, in their infinite wisdom, decided to remove from the game.
