I’m wondering if Griffball counts towards Achilles? It seems like a pretty easy mode to get a lot of kills in, which would kind of cheapen the whole thing if it counted towards Company Commendations. On the other hand, it might be more productive that kill farming in Warzone so maybe it would help address that problem

Yeah, I would have mixed feelings about it. I mean on the one hand, finishing all those commendations is a monumental and daunting task, so it would be nice to have a way to rack up kills a little faster. On the other, as part of a Spartan Company that has taken up the challenge of going after Achilles the hard way with no kill farming or other shenanigans, I was looking forward to the satisfaction of actually pulling it off. Like I said, the idea that we could suddenly get there faster does feel like it would cheapen it a bit. I won’t be too salty if it counts though, I mean you can only really work on a few commendations in the mode. Completing the rest is still a really tall order and impressive challenge.

Swords & melee kills commendations can be earned. Just got both of them maxed.

Even so, it doesn’t help with tons of the commendations that can only be acquired in warzone. Even if my company RACES to level 5 kills, we still have to wait for our First Strike commendation to catch up…

I mean I was referring specifically to Spartan Company Commendations that can unlock Achilles when all earned, but it stands to reason that if you can get individual ones you can get Company ones
