I’ve heard that you can’t do gamesharing to share the beta with someone like you can with full games. Other betas have worked fine, but I heard someone say that’s different for this? Is that true?
I’ve never heard of gamesharing and I’ve owned an Xbox One since day one lol. What is it? I mean, I can take a pretty good guess by the name, but I’ve never heard of it.
You and a friend can set your each other as home xboxs (my gamertag on his, his on mine) and all the digital stuff we buy is shared. Xbox advertises it used this way as well.

Is it locked by Xbox though? Can someone else play it on a different Xbox with my Gamertag without me getting banned or anything? Not concurrently, mind you.

I am not sure if that’s possible, I think the two codes are needed, one of them downloaded the beta and the other tied it to your gamertag. So when your friend logged into your account, where would he go to download the beta? Could be wrong though, would have to seek a higher authority than me to get that answered.
