Does forge time count towards custom time?
I don’t know for sure, but I know how you can test it.
Mark the amount of time you’ve spent in Customs by viewing your service record in game. Then, spend some time in Forge mode, like 1 hour or so. Finally, go back to your service record and see if the time spent in Customs Games has gone up. Could take a bit for the counter to refresh.
I’m inclined to say that Forge does count as Custom, as I often see Forge Mode maps active in the Customs Browser.

Doesn’t look like it my custom didn’t go up. I was on for about 8 hours yesterday.

No, I don’t remember where they said this but no.
I can also confirm that Forge time does not count towards custom game time. The other day, I spent several hours creating a Forge map, and it didn’t affect my custom games time at all. To make things worse, my map ended up getting messed up, and crashes the game whenever I load it up… I was proud of the work I’ve done on that map too…

I’m just going to have to give up on getting Timmy. I need to spend considerably more time on forge. Getting 5 hours a day plus on customs isn’t really pausible know body is playing any thing I want to play and I refuse to actaully leave my console on idle over night. Consoles need sleep too.
No it doesn’t.
Though just to check is the dead line for Timmy in a few days or is it the 31st. I’ve seen both statements been made.
