To me, one of the best things Halo 5 did was introduce us to Exuberant Witness. She’s by far the highlight on the character roster for the game and one of my favorite characters in the universe. I was initially skeptical of yet another monitor in the games when I played the campaign for the first time, but that went away within the first few seconds.
When 343i decided to give away the Voices of War pack, I was excited to be able to try out Exuberant as the announcer. At the time, I was a bit conflicted about whether or not I’d want to switch back and forth between the default and 031, but over time I decided to stick with Exuberant. There’s still no replacement for Jeff of course. It’s odd, normally the amount of positivity and happiness she displays in almost all situations (campaign and multiplayer) would be considered obscene, but it just works.
I really hope to see Exuberant have a similar role in Infinite. I would love to see more plot points involving or discussing her. I don’t see many posts about her so I wanted to make one to show some love.

I have a feeling she will play a vital role in Infinite because she is the best bet humanity has to uncover a weakness for the guardians. She also doesn’t seem too thrilled with Cortana’s bs so that’s a plus

I would think she would be willing to leave Genesis temporarily. I may be wrong, but I vaguely recall other instances of monitors temporarily leaving their installations. Maybe it was guilty spark when another monitor went silent? I’m a bit rusty to be honest

I can’t recall either. I know he mentioned something during one of the terminal cutscenes about another monitor going silent and that meant he might not have long himself. But I’m with you on Exuberant leaving temporarily given the circumstances.
