I love it. Most of you suck, it has some minor issues but they sure aren’t deal breakers. I’ve only missed one day playing since it came out and average about 2-3 hours a day.
I’m still really enjoying it and plan to play for months. I got Fallout 4 on release day but still haven’t even opened it…
Am I the one that’s crazy?

I enjoy Halo 5 as well but bro…Fallout 4 is amazing. I can’t stop playing that game. You should honestly try it.
The movement mechanics in Halo 5 are awful. It’s way too over the top with the sprinting, the thrusting, the clamber, and the ground-pound. These wacky movement mechanics are a deal-breaker for me, and I won’t buy Halo 5 because of them.

I swear every profile with that account is always the one whining about the mobility options in Halo 5.
You have to realize the few on waypoint represent a very small portion of the Halo community. We are talking a fraction of a fraction of a fraction. But some here with their swelled heads swear they represent the majority but in actuality they don’t.
Playin’ it gives me a hell of a headache, and I rage and complain and go on tangents, but I haven’t stopped playing it yet. I think it’s a great game, I just don’t quite agree with all the changes they’ve made and I’m waiting it out for the communities raging to get them to straighten things out. I hate it as it is, but I’m patient, possibly desperate for that working next gen Halo game so I can get my group of friends back together for some good old fashioned butt-whoopin’ on a brand new shiny Halo game.

I like it. I’m disappointed with the lack of content at launch though. I’ve been saying to delay the game, so everything can be together at launch for Halo 5.
It’s good. I like it a lot. Very smooth. People who say otherwise are simply lagging and have crap Internet.
campaign is kinda weak with the storyline and was designed to be played as a coop instead of solo. it’s still fun to play and decently interesting
Multiplayer is great. Best it’s been in a while in terms of arena. People whining at the controls are either to stupid to adjust the settings to fit their need, suck in general or are those afraid of change type folks. Warzone is weak, basically a way to req up faster.
lack of maps and modes will improve as more are released. This much we know.
HOWEVER - The latest update was a disappointment and a step in the wrong direction. Maps seem unpolished and are visually underwhelming. Honestly the original maps of all four not only play better, they look much better even on the 360
Overall good game. Fact that dlc is free is wonderful and providing content continues to come out on a regular basis will remain interesting.
we all know of the haters out there that just love to hate. Unfortunately, there are far more haters posting on forums like these… Skewing the truth
I like that they hired on a Pro team to help design and test the mechanics while many others also gave feedback that resulted in a very smooth feeling Multiplayer experience. Apparently, Halo 3 was popular (I played it alot) but that “dumb’d down” version of Halo just wasn’t tested very well from a competitiveness side resulting in a chunky flow. Sure, I have my preferences and minor complaints of Halo 5 and of course the aiming system needed focus, but nothing compared to the things I disliked in Halo 3. So, yeah, I might be a bit biased cause I don’t want Halo to start getting nerfed again.
I’m having a great time. Some of the criticisms I read seem legitimate, some don’t. Of the ones that do, a lot of the critics are so belligerent or whiney that I just don’t care whether they’re right or not. I’m not tired of debate, but I’m very tired of people who either can’t acknowledge that opinions other than their own are an option, or who are just so overly melodramatic about their hate or their disappointment or their disillusionment that they come off like a guest on Springer. It’s painful.

I had concern about the new mechanics changing the game too much, but honestly, after playing for a while I’ve found that the current Spartan Abilities are far and away a more nuanced, perfected approach to movement compared to what we had in Reach or Halo 3 (and I enjoyed both of those games). I think a key design choice here was to give every player the exact same set of moves and, honestly, I think it worked. I smile uncontrollably every time I pull of a successful ground pound kill. I also have to say, the grapple ability has added a good deal of verticality to the maps, and even small maps feel larger because of it. So, yeah, I mean it’s not my job to convince you, but I really feel like you’re discounting the game because of something that is actually pretty dang fun.
