Yeah that’s a funny thing too because since the first Halo the vehicles were always said to be getting armor upgrades but all that has ever happened is that they’ve gotten weaker and weaker.
Might be Mandela effect but I thought halo CE vehicles were indestructible except for the ghost, banshee, and like two other I can’t remember

yes they were ,but you’d still take damage from being shot… the ghost and banshee were invincible outside of campaign. Also you could be sniped out of a tank, because the hatch was an open grate or something that left you exposed. So yeah in mutliplayer all vehicles were indestructable.

That explains it cause I remember doing the warthog launch glitch on blood gulch lol ahhhhhh the good ole days…….yup I’m a halo boomer

Back in Halo CE you could solo cap a flag with a warthog cause you could still drive with the flag, i remember doing that in blood gultch i’d ram the hog into the entrance get out grab flag get in hog pull out go home and most of the time i’d oddly get home and score, fun times. Now if you played halo custom edition some vehicles in halo custom edition can be destroyed likely using the campaigns vehicle health system that i think the ghost had ,but I KNOw the banshee had.

Only in campaign was that true in Multi all drivable vehicles were indestructable, and you couldn’t use the wraith yet.
No not in multiplayer, no Wraith.
you couldn’t drive the wraith in campaign either. the only covenant vehicles you could drive were the banshee and the ghost you even use a banshee to get to the autum at the end and crash it in a now iconic scene. “You did that on purpose.”
That’s where you’re wrong because in CE campaign I have always been able to get a Wraith and a Banshee.
You must be playing Custom edition

outside of a modded game you cannot drive Wraith’s in Halo CE they are like the energy sword I think if you kill the driver they blow up. They may have changed it for the MCC version…
This halo ce talk is giving me some serious Mandela effect vibes……bout to go dig up my old original Xbox and boot up halo ce (not the MCC version) and see what happens

You can run out onto the bridge and kill the Elite and steal his Banshee and then use it to kill everything else on the bridge and ground plus everything leading up on the left side where the hunters are and then disabled one of the Wraiths on the ground for later, I do it that way every time I play CE.
MCC or the original?
The answer is no, you cannot, just booted up the original CE, in the beginning of “assault on control room” there is a wraith
