Does armor matter?

Two noob questions:

  1. So I get armor at various levels, but they give no stats. Does that mean all the armors are cosmetic, or do the higher level ones actually do anything functional?

  2. I know you can take over vehicles by hitting X, but if someone else is climbing into your vehicle, is there anything you can do to defend yourself? Hitting X sure does not seem to help…

  1. Armor is cosmetic. Specializations however, give you “perks”.

  2. No, there is no way to defend yourself when someone is hijacking you.

  1. is just cosmetic, but awesome

2.pressing buttons, not really… but the best u can do is drive into a narrow hallway or wall, that way the enemy can’t turn around the vehicles easy and give u the chance to press X (or RB) to hijack it again, amazing don’t? just practice a little for that u will learn with the time

There is no such thing as noob questions. Every question is a mystery to the clueless that has to be solved. So don’t be ashamed of asking these questions. We went through it too.

  1. It’s just there to look good. (Some armor doesn’t even do that, though.)

  2. There’s nothing you can do except hope a teammate can kill him before he hijacks you. You just have to make sure you don’t get that close to them.

I disagree. Armor is a symbol of your skill and dedication to the game.

Attach a sticky detonator grenade your vehicle before leaving. Should give you 40ish seconds. If someone jacks you, they’ll regret it. lol

1- Armor makes you look cool. That’s it. Even the armor given to you through specializations do only that.

2- When you are hijacked, there isn’t alot you can do. However, you can put yourself into a small area that makes it difficult for the hijacker to get out, allowing you to blow him up, or get your vehicle back.
