I would just like to say I am a huge fan of Troy Denning’s work. His Star Wars and Halo novels are nothing short of fantastic.
Because I generally don’t have time to read, I listen to audiobooks (thank heavens for Audible), and I have Halo: Divine Wind on my phone, ready to be listened to. The trouble is I just don’t like the narrator. It could be the best book in the world but unless you have a good narrator to go with it, it is going to fall flat. And to me that is what’s happened with Halo: Divine Wind. I don’t know what it is about the woman who narrates it, but I just cannot get onboard with it and stopped listening after about 5 minutes.
So, it begs the question: does anything important happen? Is it worth listening to?
