Does anyone want to try endure?

Hey all hope you’re having a nice day.
Anyone want to try endure?
For those who have done it already, is it difficult? Do you have any tips?
Send me a message if you’d like to try it.

Is it difficult? Not really unless you don’t have decent players. Like you don’t need “pros” but also people that don’t have waste lives and also grab health packs if they just have a little scratch of their health gone. Once you have your team, make the person with the smoothest internet host cause you don’t want to lag out and lose it all from that. Endure challenge will take you about 2 hours.

Just play smart, remember you have infinite time so don’t push something that will get you killed. Also if you didn’t know, dying on the bonus round doesn’t cost you any lives, so get those points for the bonus lives. If you find a decent team it’s not too difficult. Now whatever you do, don’t do what I see a lot of others trying. Don’t pick the tiny small maps (or god forbid night time maps) just because no enemy wraiths or what not will not spawn. It can get really cramped just from how small the map is, and can get you killed a lot from not having anywhere to go for cover. No night time maps because you don’t want to bother with the engineers.

I’d recommend the map Lost Platoon, its huge and you have all the room you would ever need to move around. Sure wraiths can spawn but the map gives you power weapons, one of them being a spartan laser, so you can kill them pretty much as fast as they get dropped off. When me and some friends did endure challenge we had 18 spare lives left on that map after beating the 4th set. Just give somebody on your team control of the sniper (somebody that won’t waste the shots, I cringe when I see people use the sniper on grunts and jackals) and somebody take control of the sniper. The other 2 use vehicles like the prawlers (except on the 3rd round of the set) and it’s fairly easy to get the endure challenge. The hardest part is that it takes about 2 hours.

If you need some help hit me up later and If I’m free I’ll help out, gamer tag is the same as here

What me and three others did on the Xbox 360 version, which we are going to do with this one, is load up Lost Platoon and stockpile Brute Choppers by hiding them where the vehicles spawn in the building. Two on Brute Choppers and two running and gunning will make the rounds go really quick, especially if the two players who are not in the Choppers have the power weapons.

Alpha Site is my recommendation. You don’t have to worry about being cheesed by Catch while driving a vehicle or accidentally getting hit by a wraith mortar. It’s also way easier to combat black eye, as you can just keep meleeing (can’t melee in a vehicle).

I recommend Lost Platoon as well, with the same breakdown of 2 players inside the big structure in the middle and 2 players in Choppers.

One thing I’ll add is to have one player be on Wraith duty. There is a laser that spawns in that building. Get that one player to focus solely on the Wraiths that drop in and then focus on other stuff.

Also, ensure you don’t use boost in a Chopper anywhere near your teammates even if the enemy is right in front of you. Those Brutes are sly and will find a way to slip by you, making you slam into your teammate. Not a proud moment for me…

As long as your teammates don’t rush the enemy and generally think their actions through, you should be fine  It ends up being quite enjoyable when you get into a rhythm.

I agree with most people opinions on the difficulty after experiencing it myself. The difficulty is nothing to be worried about if you have a lot of PvE experience. If you don’t, my biggest tip is to have squad mates that do have that experience and stick with them. I haven’t read all of the other people’s response so I might be repeating the same answer. For tips in general, plan out your role and who should do what to optimize your lethality and team work. Stay in groups, no matter what map you choose to play on, stay in groups of two or stay together in general, but be careful of cross fire and shooting the same enemies. And if you can give callouts, do it. Whenever you are getting more ammo, throwing grenades, healing, or rushing an enemy, give call outs. It will save your life. That’s all I have to say.

If you want to do it Monday morning/afternoon I’m down. I would have done it but Comcast decided to cut my internet down for an 30 minutes ugh. It’s super easy on alpha! Just stay back and cover the middle area and stock pile weapons in the elevator. I barely died let alone all the randoms that push out always end up dying. Just stay back, they come to you!

Haha hehe no

Wow thanks for all the replies and great tips. As of now I have one person interested possibly plus a a few ITT. I’ll try to coordinate something today, maybe we can get this done soon and not have to worry about it. Thanks again and have a great day

Hmu if you see me on, I finally started playing odst yesterday. It’s so weird, I’ve done endure 3 times, but it’s been a long time, I don’t remember the maps or spawns

lost platoon, have the host glitch into the wraith (same trick to get into AA wraith in h3) and other 3 in choppers. And you stockpile choppers for when you need em.

I will not try, partly because I don’t have ODST.

First of all: you don’t need to have the ODST Firefight I believe. Second: Then why are you even replying? Your wasting our time and it’s considered spam what your doing.
