i dont have that problem at all, try switching your searching preferance to expansive. i get games in seconds always.

I think it really depends on what playlist and what time of day it is. I hardly ever have problems finding matches in slayer or team arena. Especially if I’m in a fire team. The only problems I do notice are solo Q searching is ridiculous. Tons of lopsided matches. Secondly, for me at around 9 pm and beyond I’m noticing most of my matches are pulling players not from the states. Which sucks because it feels like those matches hardly ever go well. The connection doesn’t feel good.
I play very often, and search preference is usually on focused or balanced depending on who’s hosting the fire team.
I downloaded the game but was looking for friends to play with.
Sometimes happens to me.
Was really y looking forward for Halo infinite to come out this year, but rather wait for the “full” game.
It depends on what game mode. I can find a WZFF match in 30 seconds, but regular Warzone times out every time. From what I have played:
Active:
Warzone Firefight
Mythic Warzone Firefight
Warzone Assault (rotational)
Warzone Turbo (rotational)
Big Team Super Fiesta
Roaming Hill (rotational)
Action Sack (rotational)
Rock And Rail (rotational)
Inactive:
Warzone

As you can see, I do not play a lot of modes. The time of day might also change activity, but I usually play between 7pm-10pm Irish Time. Another thing that will change the amount of games you will find is your search preferences. I would say always choose either Balanced or Expanded, but never Focused. I prefer Balanced because of lag, but sometimes expanded is fine too. If you are looking to play a specific game mode, Customs Browser is also good, as long as you avoid games with “Assassinations” “Recruitmentl “Clan” or “Social” in them. Hope this helps!

Typically in my experience I am always able to find a warzone match. The popular modes such as SWAT and Slayer are populated. The niche modes are ghost towns. It also depends on when you play. Night time PST is when I have the most success. In summary, yes people still play. It is just a game of where and when.

the population is really low, id really depends on when you search
Yeah I just got back on halo 5 for the first time in like 8 months. Open NAT in the US and I found 2 games in an hour.

I prefer to play games where I don’t get kicked off and get a ban.
Can any1 report on whether it’s playable in Australia? I’m assuming most of you are American.
I really want too play it, but i dont want too pay for xbox live just too endlessly search for lobbies.
