Does anyone remember the H3 weekend hoppers?

I remember Bungie use to do a lot of community oriented stuff, other than there humpdays. Around this time we would have seen a Thanksgiving hopper of some sort, but that was back in the H3 days!

Now is this a further tell on the difference that 343 has when interacting with the community compared to Bungie?

The lack of special fun hoppers to release some competitive stress can further explain on why we don’t have a FFA/Doubles/Snipers/SWAT/Griffball permanent playlists. Really questions if anyone at 343 is actually part of the regular Halo community, where we all come to the same conclusion on wtf is going on…

*I love Halo 4 and I will not play anything else, but why are so many details messed up? It would seem like logical sense for any Halo player to put in the right playlists, put in rank to separate the different playing styles, not remove features that were in previous games…

So 343’s servers are continuously falling apart, but we have to have weekend hoppers? I’m not trying to sound rude but they are having ton of launch problems and are trying to get the game playable before anything else. If the servers and everything are fixed at the end of the month, then I expect a Christmas or a New Year playlist.

Not 343s… Microsoft’s servers. It blows my mind to even think Microsoft did not extra clusters/datacenters to help out with Halo 4s launch. To even think that Microsoft/343 does not have enough servers to hold the bandwidth is absurd.

Personally, I have not had an issue with H4 connectivity. Yeah sometimes lag does happen, that is mostly to people having really bad connections and affecting everyone entirely.

Yeah, I am still expecting something anytime soon.

They should make Team Snipers and other gametypes that will be eventually on MM as double SP. Every weekend.

Launch problems. Every game has them. The first patch for Assassins Creed III had over a hundred fixes. It takes a while, especially with a big game like this, but once its done it tends to run smoothly afterwards with only a few bumps here and their.

Double exp weekends were great, I always looked forward to the Halloween living dead playlist too.
